Girl I love me some Nina Simone...although my favorite song is Just Like A Woman. The passion in her voice makes all of her songs come to life for me.
Thanks to Suezette I have become a Nina Simone fan. Good for studying. I am not sure about that thick accent on the French renditions. I'll let it slide.
There's nothing wrong with hoping to be understood -in what we say and don't say, in our intentions, and in our hearts true wishes. Isn't that reflective somehow of what we all would hope for? Embrace that.
